Many dog breeds can benefit from some degree of basic trimming to keep them clean and looking their best.
The most common types of trimming for dogs include keeping their paws neat, trimming around their hindquarters and belly areas for hygienic purposes, and tidying their silhouette if needed.
Breeds that require full trims and styles are usually those with coats that continue to grow, such as Poodles, Bichons and other single-layered pets.
